What fits in the Hub?

The Hub is proposed as a commercial block building in the T4 Neighborhood and T5 Main Street transect zones. The highest intensity transect zone is T6 Downtown, a 7-block area north of this site.

A commercial block building is described in zoning regulations as:

"a small to large sized structure, typically attached, that provides a vertical mix of uses with ground-floor commercial, service or retail uses, and upper-floor commercial, service or residential uses. Smaller versions of this type make up the Main Street while larger versions make up the primary component of downtown".
